Hospitality Workers Shouldn't Put Lives at Risk
The restaurant and bar industry is one of the most important money making fields in Nashville. Bar and restaurant workers put in a hard day's work, and at the end of the day need to feed their families like everyone else.
If the Restaurant Carry Law should go into effect on July 14, 2009 restaurant and bar workers in the state of Tennessee will be forced to reckon with great risk, and possibly violence. Restaurant workers are not security guards or police officers, and shouldn't be expected to check gun registrations or pat customers down.
If you work in a restaurant or other hospitality industry in which the Restaurant Carry law will effect your safety, join the Facebook group and sign the petition to speak out against the law allowing guns in bars.
