Phil Bredesen Speaks
Tennessee governor, Phil Bredesen had a lot to say about the legislation allowing guns in bars/restaurants. It seems Tennessee’s governor feels the law should be overturned before it can go into affect. In this audio clip he expresses thoughts regarding legislators that were uninformed about the legislation. Governor Bredesen goes on to discuss several conversations he has had within the hospitality community. Several staff members of Tennessee restaurants have threatened to quit their jobs for fear of their safety, should the law go into affect on July 14, 2009.
Tennessee’s state governor understands the repercussions should this law go into effect, and so do we. Sign the petition and join our cause today. Keep our favorite place our safest places.
